A user asks for a active galectin 1 protein. I cannot be sure which ABCAM
protein active; Galectin 1 protein (Human) (ab87683) or Galectin 1
protein (ab50237) or another one. Could you please inform me about which
is in active form?

Thank you for contacting us.
I recommend ab50237, based on test of the protein for chemotacttic activity, which is noted on the datasheet:
"Determined by its ability to chemoattract human blood monocytes. Chemotactic activity was observed at a concentration of 2.5 µg/ml with a peak response obtained at 250 µg/ml."
Please let me know if your customer has any questions or concerns.
