I would like to enquire the difference between these two products:
GAPDH protein (active) (ab82633)
GAPDH protein (human) (ab77109)
I am looking for an active GAPDH protein. Please advise which is suitable.

Thank you for contacting us and your interest in our products.
The GAPDH protein ab82633 and ab77109 are both the full length GAPDH expressed in E. coli, however only ab82633 has been tested for its enzymatic activity. The specific activity was found to be 35.7 U/mg. One unit of activity of GAPDH is defined as the amount of enzyme required to convert 1 µmole of NAD to NADH per minute under standard assay conditions.
