RelevanceGOLGA7 (Golgi autoantigen, golgin subfamily a, 7) is a member of the golgin family and may be involved in protein transport from the Golgi to the cell surface. GOLGA7 forms a protein complex with ZDHHC9. This ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex is a palmitoyltransferase specific for H-RAS and N-RAS.
