Preparation and Storage

  • Stability and Storage

    Shipped at 4°C. Store at -80°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein on reconstitution (0.1% HSA or BSA).

    Constituents: 97% PBS, 3% Trehalose

    Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage.

  • Reconstitution
    Reconstitute the lyophilized product in 100 µl sterile deionized water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage. 5-10% trehalose is commonly used for freeze drying, and after reconstitution, the trehalose is mostly about 3-5%

  • 293 cells were transfected with anti-MSLN-scFv and RFP tag. 2e5 of the cells were first stained with either Human Mesothelin (ab185263, 1 µg/mL) or His Tag protein control, followed by FITC-conjugated anti-6xHis tag antibody. Non-transfected 293 cells and His Tag-protein control were used as negative control. RFP was used to evaluate CAR (anti-MSLN-scFv) expression and FITC was used to evaluate the binding activity of ab185263.

  • SDS Page analysis of ab185263, under reducing conditions, stained with Coomassie blue brilliant. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 38-42 kDa due to glycosylation.
