Measured by ability to inhibit anti-CD3 induced proliferation of stimulated human T cells. Human T lymphocytes cultured for 72 hours with PHA were incubated for an additional 3 days in 96 well plates coated with 500 ng/ml anti-CD3 and rhTIM1.
The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.15-1.0 µg/ml.

This product is an active protein and may elicit a biological response in vivo, handle with caution.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 100 µg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage.
