Preparation and Storage

  • Stability and Storage

Shipped at 4°C. Store at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Upon delivery aliquot. Store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.

    pH: 7.50
Constituents: 0.61% Tris, 0.75% Glycine, 5% Trehalose, Sodium chloride, L-Arginine

This product is an active protein and may elicit a biological response in vivo, handle with caution.

  • Reconstitution
Reconstitute the lyophilized product in 1000 µl sterile deionized water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage

  • Function

May be involved in cell adhesion processes, particularly in the central nervous system. In case of filovirus infection, seems to function as a cell entry factor.
  • Tissue specificity

Abundant in the brain and lower levels in other tissues.
  • Sequence similarities

Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Tyr protein kinase family. AXL/UFO subfamily.
    Contains 2 fibronectin type-III domains.
    Contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains.
    Contains 1 protein kinase domain.
  • Cellular localization

    Cell membrane.
  • Information by UniProt

Images

  • Human TYRO3 (Fc Tag) on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
  • ab191642 in DTT-reduced (+) SDS-PAGE staining overnight with Coomassie Blue. DTT-reduced protein migrates as 85-110 kDa due to glycosylation.
