Preparation and Storage

  • Stability and Storage

    Shipped at 4°C. Store at 4°C prior to reconstitution. Upon reconsitution add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA). Store at +4°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.

  • Reconstitution
    Reconstitute the lyophilized product in sterile deionized water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage. After reconstitution store under sterile conditions for 3 months at -80°C.

    Acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator. Plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. Mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. It is subject to negative-feedback regulation by U-PA which cleaves it into an inactive form.
