  • Relevance

VEGFA is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth. Induces endothelial cell proliferation, promotes cell migration, inhibits apoptosis, and induces permeabilization of blood vessels. Binds to the VEGFR1/Flt-1 and VEGFR2/Kdr receptors, heparan sulfate and heparin. Neuropilin-1 binds isoforms VEGF-165 and VEGF-145. In contrast to other factors mitogenic for endothelial cells such as FGF-1, FGF-2 and PDGF, VEGF is synthesized as a precursor containing a typical hydrophobic secretory signal sequence of 26 amino acids. Glycosylation is not required for efficient secretion of VEGF. VEGF 121 circulates more freely than other VEGF forms, which bind more tightly with vascular heparin sulfates.

    Question

    Hello,

I recently purchased two VEGF proteins, products:

    ab61861

    ab61872

The product literature that came with them each has a graph showing the amount of proliferation of HUVECs when supplemented with various concentrations of the proteins. Can you send me high quality versions of these graphs? They are of such poor quality that I can't read the concentrations used, which makes them pretty worthless.

    Answer

    Hello!

Unfortunately we don't have the graphs saved in another format than the one on the datasheet, but I can list the concentrations below.

    ab61861

    Human VEGF-165 ng/ml [log scale] .001, .01, .1, 1.0, 10.0, 100.0

    Human VEGF 121 ng/ml [log scale] .001, .01, .1, 1.0, 10.0, 100.0

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
