Relevance
Streptavidin is a tetrameric protein purified from Streptomyces sp. that binds very tightly to the vitamin biotin with a Kd of ~ 10-14 mol/l. The high affinity recognition of biotin and biotinylated molecules has made streptavidin one of the most important components in diagnostics and laboratory kits. -

Images
-
ELISA plate was coated with Goat Anti-Human IgG-Biotin and purified/unlabeled Rat IgG1κ. Biotin conjugated antibody and purified immunoglobulin were detected with serially diluted ab279315.
-
Rabbit IgG-unlabeled was resolved by electrophoresis under reducing conditions, transferred to PVDF membrane, and probed with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-Biotin followed by ab279315 and chemiluminescent detection.
