Thank you for your phone call yesterday and for your patience while I have been in touch with the lab. Ab11429 has not been tested against other RELM proteins and it is unknown whether it will cross-react with the other forms. This polyclonal antibody was raised against full-length recombinant mouse RELM beta, so there will likely be epitopes all over the protein surface and if there are regions of homology with other RELM proteins there may be crossreactivity. If you are having any problems with the antibody or if you have concerns, please let me know and I will be happy to help you.

Thank you for your enquiry. I am sorry to hear that you have been having problems with this antibody. I have read your technical questionaire and I have a few comments. You are using mouse intestine which is a positive control that we recommend. However, I would appreciate it if you could tell me the dilution factor that you have been applying the antibody at. We recommend the antibody is applied at a dilution of 1:100. Could you also tell me whether the permeabilization agent is triton? I am currently in correspondence with my colleagues in the lab to determine the protocol that was employed for the testing of this antibody by IHC-P. I will forward any information that becomes available.
