Target

  • Relevance

Reovirus is an acronym for Respiratory Enteric Orphan Virus. The reovirus is a double stranded RNA virus and is non-pathogenic naturally occurring virus, and not usually associated with any particular illness. Almost 100 per cent of the population show signs of a previous reovirus infection, generally confined to the gastrointestinal or respiratory systems in the body. Scientific studies have demonstrated that the virus specifically targets cells with a highly activated Ras signaling pathway and hence is a potent cancer killer.

Answer

Thank you for contacting us.

Ab33986 was raised against strain S1122, but to our knowledge, the epitope for this antibody has not been mapped. Unfortunately, we have not tested this antibody against the T1 Lang or T3 Abney strains of reovirus, but we will guarantee it for that purpose. If for any reason the antibody does not work to your satisfaction in one of the tested applications, we will be happy to refund or replace your purchase as long as you contact us within six months.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you need any other information or assistance.
