Is there any reason you did not indicate the following mAb is a Phospho-Ser5 antibody: Anti-RNA polymerase II CTD repeat YSPTSPS antibody [4H8] - ChIP Grade (ab5408) In literature and other providers even your ELISA assay, this mAb is clearly a P-Ser5 CTD Ab. Would you please clarify this confusing point please.

Thank you for contacting us. I am checking with the lab for a more specific explanation. But I do understand your confusion very well. Here is some information I did find in the meantime: "ELISA and peptide blocking show that the specificity of ab5408 towards the different phospho-forms VARIES between batches, with a preference towards the phosphoS5 form. ab26721 is another suitable antibody that shows a greater preference for unmodified RNAPII in WB peptide inhibition. The antibody ab5408 shows some specificity towards Ser5 but is still a general RNAPII antibody." I will let you know which additional information I'll receive from the lab. Thank you for your patience.
