RelevanceRNF125 is a novel E3 ubiquitin ligase that is expressed in CD4 and CD8 positive T cells and contains an N-terminal RING finger domain. It may function as a positive regulator in the T-cell receptor signaling pathway. E3 ligase proteins mediate ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins.
