    High affinity human homologous recombination (HR) protein RAD51 stimulator. Low micromolar concentrations enhance DNA binding (Kd = 48-107 nM, dependent on cofactors present), and result in longer protein–DNA complex lengths. Enhances recombinogenic activity by stabilizing the active form of hRAD51 filaments without inhibiting hRAD51 ATPase activity. Enhances both TALEN and Cas9-mediated knock-in efficiency in rabbit embryos both in vitro and in vivo.
