Answer

Thank you for providing that information.

I have had a talk with our department that handles the processing of stock and sending it out. It seems that unfortunately you were sent the incorrect documentation for the lot number of the product. Therefore the molecular weight of the product should match to that stated on the vial of the product. However, as I am not 100% sure that it was not a labeling error (and the product you have is from a different vial) I have arranged for a replacement to be sent out to you.

I am sorry thatthis error has occurred. It appears thatit may be as a result of us starting to handle the products of Ascent andthe logistics that this has involved.I am certain that the vial that you are now being sent willbe correct. The order number of thenew vial is1065737(Purchaseorder numberFOCR FMVS1142495).As we are coming into Easter itis likely that this will not reach you until next week.

I am sorryfor any inconvenience this problem has caused you.If you have any problems receiving the replacementproduct please do let me know.

Answer

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I have checked some lots of (S)-3,4-DCPG (UBP1109) that we have in stock and it seems that the certificate of analysis documentation and the molecular weight presented on the vial itself match. I am unsure as to why yours are different.

Could you please check the lot number on the certificate of analysis provided to you, as well as that on the vial you received and let me knowwhat they are? This number should start with APN.

I will try to resolve this situation as quickly as I can. I am sorry for any inconvenience this problem is causing you.

Thank you for your reply and for kindly providing the product code.

The purity of this compound ((S)-3,4-DCPG) is checked by several analytical techniques including chiral HPLC and contains less than 1% of any other compound. The only identified impurity is the other isomer (R)-3,4-DCPG which varies between batches but is at a level of 0.8% in batch APN10024-4-4.

I hope this information will be helpful to you. if you have any further questions, or if you have some concerns regarding the results from this product, please do not hesitate to contact me.
