Hi, I have a couple of question about this product : - which is the quantity of droso cells necessary to obtain the 100 microgram lysate (approximately)? - what's the characteristic of these drosophila cells?, are they different from D.mel S2 (embryonic cells of Drosophila melanogaster)? Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. May I please apologise for the delay to your question enquiring about the number of cells required to derive 100ug of lysate. The cell lysates were generated in large batches and then aliquoted, 100 ug per vial. Our supplier would estimate that it would take about 4 million SL2 cells to obtain 100ug of lysate. I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require further assistance.
