    Store at +4°C. Store under desiccating conditions. The product can be stored for up to 12 months.

  • Handling

    Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20°C. Generally, these will be useable for up to one month. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.

    Hallo,
    ich arbeite zurzeit mit dem im Betreff angegebenen Produkt Gabazin um GABAerge Ströme in elektrophysiologischen Messungen zu blocken.
    Da die Ergebnisse nicht den Erwartungen entsprechen, bestehen Zweifel an der Wirkung des Gabazins.
    Aufgrund dessen wollte ich sie fragen, ob es bedenklich ist ca. 3 Monate alte Stocklösungen (gelagert im Gefrierschrank) weiterhin zu verwenden.
    Zudem besitzen wir eine ungeöffnete Dose der Reinsubstanz (gelagert bei 4°C), deren Lieferdatum allerdings schon ca. zwei Jahre her ist. Ist es unbedenklich aus dieser Dose neue Stocklösungen anzusetzen oder könnte die Substanz schon in ihrer Wirkung beeinträchtigt sein?

    Vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage.

    Leider hat das Labor die Stabilität in den Bedingungen nicht getestet in welchen es gelagert wurde.

    Das Labor hat die Lagerung der Lösung bei -20°C nur bis zu einem Monat getestet. Wir denkenjedoch, dass wenn dieses Produkt in gut verschlossenen Röhrchen bei -20°C gelagert ist, es auch noch nach 3 Monaten bei -20°C gut erhalten sein sollte. Wir können dies jedoch nicht garantieren.

    Wir empfehlen vor Allem, darauf zu Achten, dass das Gabazine vor Gebrauch bei Raumtemperatur ist und dass keine Präzipitate drin sind.

    Das lyophilisierte Stockprodukt ist haltbar bis zu 6 Monaten. Wie auch für die Lösung, denkt das Labor, dass längere Lagerung ok sein sollte. Dies wurde jedoch auch nicht getestet.
