I got the following back from them and I can't say I am pleased.
They are essentially justifying cutting the unit quantity in half based on lot analysis of a single endpoint ( western analysis ).
But we of course have more than this single application. Western analysis not with standing, I don't see how we can use less than half as much on a mass basisthan the previous lot
for IP and ChIP and still get the same results.
In contrast, when we sell them ourmonoclonalsthey are sold to the end user on mass basis ( I used to do the western lot analysis myself on these, but that was just a QA check).

Thanks for your reply.
I am sorry for the confusion. In this case I am happy to send you 1 additional vial of ab32058 free of charge to make up for the difference in mass between the vial of ab32058 you purchased 2 years ago and the vial you purchased recently.
Going forward, I would recommend confirming the antibodyconcentration, and any other pertinent product details not specifically noted on the online datasheet, before purchase.
Please provide the PO number or Abcam order reference number associated with this most recent purchase of ab32058 so I can send you this free vial.
