Phone call reporting non-specific staining with the anti-TEM1 antibody (ab67273)
Asked on Jan 09 2013
Thank you for contacting us yesterday and alerting us to the problem you are experiencing with the anti-TEM1 antibody (ab67273). We take product complaints very seriously, and investigate every product that we feel may not be performing correctly.
As discussed over the phone, all of our products are covered by the Abpromise guarantee. This stipulates that if you find the product is not functioning as indicated on the datasheet of the product and the product was purchased in the last six months and is being used according to our Abpromise, we would be happy to replace or refund the antibody. As you mentioned that you were not able to test the antibody at the time of purchase I would be willing to extend this guarantee period for you as a gesture of good will. More information on the Abpromise guarantee can be found from the following link:
When you are ready to share the data you have gathered with this antibody please do let me know and I can look into this further. I have attached a questionnaire to this email to provide a guideline as to the information which is usually very useful in investigating this case internally and initiate additional testing where necessary.
You also mentioned over the phone that your colleague had had similar problems with the
anti-TEM1 antibody (ab67275). If you could provide any information as to the results generated with this antibody I would be very interested to know.
I look forward to receiving your reply.
