Hello, I was wondering what epitopes on the TetR protein does this specific antibody recognise? I ask as I am performing western blots probing for the tTS TetR version, and the antibody must recognise this species. If you could get back to me asap I would much appreciate it.

I was informed that the immunogen for this antibody was amino acids 31-49 (AQKLGVEQPTLYWHVKNKR) of the Tet repressor protein (my apologies for the incorrect information on the datasheet stating it was the whole protein, this has been immediately corrected). This sequence is present in all know classes of TetR, so we would expect this antibody to recognize your tTS-TetR protein. I hope this information will help you,
