IHC-P Use a concentration of 2.5 µg/ml.

Target

  • Relevance

Defects in TMC6 are a cause of epidermodysplasia verruciformis, a rare autosomal recessive genodermatosis associated with a high risk of skin carcinoma that results from an abnormal susceptibility to infection by specific human papillomaviruses. Infection leads to persistent wart-like or macular lesions. TMC6 is expressed in placenta, prostate, testis, activated T-lymphocytes and lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) lymphocytes. There are four named isoforms.
  • Cellular localization

Question
Answer

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, we are not able to release the immunogen sequence for ab67325 and ab69859 as it is proprietary information.

However, I can tell you that ab67325 is against a peptide from within xxxxx of AAM44452 and that the immunogen of ab69859 is within xxxxxxof AAM44454.

With regards to the WB image of ab69859, EVER2 has two isoforms that are 726 (81kda) and 503 (56kda) amino acids in size and ab69859 detects them both hence why there are two prominant bands on the WB.
