    Answer

The laboratory that produces ab113443 has sent the alignment of the immunogen with the rat and mouse proteins. As I mentioned in my previous e-mail, the identity of the immunogen sequence is considered proprietary. Homology between human and mouse looks like this: *****.:: :**.****** Homology between human and rat looks like this: *****.:: :**.***:** The differences between the immunogen and the homologous mouse sequence may account for the failure of the antibody to detect mAno2, but the effects of PFA fixation may also interfere with reactivity.
