WB Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 56 kDa. Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.

Note=Naturally occurring variants of TPH2 with impaired enzyme activity could cause deficiency of serotonin production and result in an increased risk of developing behavioral disorders.

I am pleased to confirm that the immunogen sequence used to generate ab28695 is 93% homologous to mouse HTR1F. The antibody has therefore good chances of detecting mouse protein, however we cannot guarantee this as it has not been tested. It is very unlikely that ab26092 would cross react with the TP5H1 form according to the BLAST results of immunogen sequence, however the antibody has not specifically been tested against this form of the protein to see if any cross reaction would occur.
