It is shown that this antibody can detect TRIM 23 in HeLa cells by WB and ICC. Is that endogenously expressed protein? So can we use HeLa lysate as positive control?

Ab97291 has been tested in WB with HeLa S3 (a clonal derivative of the HeLa line) and in ICC with HeLa cells. Both of these samples were endogenously expressing the target protein. The Human Protein Atlas also shows that HeLa cells have moderate abundance of TRIM23 RNA- http://www.proteinatlas.org/ENSG00000113595 So, HeLa lysate can be used as a positive control. We have HeLa lysate available as ab150035- https://www.abcam.com/hela-human-epithelial-carcinoma-cell-line-whole-cell-lysate-ab150035.html
