We are using the Abcam antibody directed against TRPM7 (ab729). The datasheet mentions that WB gives a band at 160 while the molecular weight of TRPM7 is 220kD. Do you have any idea why this is the case? And can we expect the same for TRPM6 or not necessarily?

Thank you for contacting us.
The ab let me know the following:
The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in the literature with different antibodies. We are not sure if this applies also to TRPM6.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
