Ugt2b is an enzyme involved in conjugating lipophilic aglycon substrates with glucuronic acid [RGD]. Ugt2b is of major importance in the conjugation and subsequent elimination of potentially toxic xenobiotics and endogenous compounds acting on various endogenous steroids, especially etiocholanolone and androsterone. -
