    Multifunctional protein found in plasma, ascitic fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, and urine and on the surface of many cell types. In plasma, it carries the vitamin D sterols and prevents polymerization of actin by binding its monomers. DBP associates with membrane-bound immunoglobulin on the surface of B-lymphocytes and with IgG Fc receptor on the membranes of T-lymphocytes.

Full length vitamin D binding protein is used as immunogen for ab121060, ab121063 and ab23480 but we are sorry to tell that we do not have a specific epitope mapping, down to the amino acid sequence, available. These antibodies have been tested in inhibition ELISA experiment, none of the antibodies inhibit each other. Hence, we believe that they do all react with different epitopes. However, as we have not tested ab23480 in sandwich ELISA with ab121063, we cannot tell whether ab23480 can be a suitable sandwich ELISA pair with ab121063, of which you have to test in your own experiment.
