The GeoMx®Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) enables investigation of high-plex, spatially resolved protein and RNA targets from a single slide-mounted formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) or fresh frozen sample. In this presentation, Alyssa will review NanoString’s robust process to screen, conjugate, and validate oligo-tagged antibodies before their incorporation into commercial panels. Antibodies with poor quality can lead to wasted time and resources, including false positives and non-reproducible results. To enable customers to focus on research, every antibody in NanoString’s commercial panels undergoes rigorous testing to ensure appropriate specificity, sensitivity, and overall performance.

Each of these antibodies undergoes bespoke IHC validation in FFPE tissues, to ensure high specificity and reproducibility. Simon's talk will highlight the process of RabMAb® IHC antibody validation at Abcam, encompassing both pre- and post-DSP barcode conjugation.
