I'm Gavinella Latte an italian researcher, I contact you for information about antibody anti-Yap phospho Y357. What it means "predicted work with Mouse, rat......"?? can I use this antibody for western blot of rat samples ?

Antibodies generally cross react with proteins of different species if the protein shares sequence homology. The homology must be >84%. We at Abcam use the terminology "predicted to react" based on this sequence homology data. This means we haven't tested the antibody in the however it is most likely to detect the protein in a given predicted species.
