Answer

Thank you for your enquiry. This product has been brought to the market as Fast track antibody and therefore it has not been characterized completely as the majority of our products. By bringing it to the market this quickly, we are hoping to receive feedback from any scientist who has the appropriate tools to demonstrate decisively the specificity of this product. This is the reason why we sell this product with discount as it comes without guarantee. I note there are non-specific reactions in the Western blots. I do not have any explanation for this since there is no match between the immunizing peptide and other proteins (using Blast search) but with the intended ZNF703. Perhaps you could use the immunizing peptide ab45802: ZNF703 peptide (241-254) to see if the non-specific bands can be blocked. It may also be useful to omit the primary to see of the non-specificity is secondary derived. If the non-specific bands cannot be blocked by the immunizing peptide and it is demonstrated to be primary derived, we would like to know and we would be happy to take further steps to help your customer. I would also like to encourage you to submit an Abreview and share your data with other customers. Currently, we have no different batch available in the short term. If you need any further assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.
